Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Anti-wrinkle injections are generally thought to be the best treatment for the forehead area, frown lines and crow’s feet near the eyes.

Several tiny injections of BTX-A will be administered directly into the muscles of your face. The entire injection procedure will take approximately 10 minutes and does not require anaesthesia. For further details see our FAQ's.

Dermal Fillers

Regain the lost volume in your skin with instant results.

This popular treatment for anti ageing restores and enhances features and provides instant results. Popular areas for treatment are the lips, bridge of the nose and cheeks to plump and add fullness to wrinkles. The technique is used for facial augmentation and helps regain the lost volume. The treatment involves injections of hyaluronic acid in the face to improve or remove facial flaws.

Hyaluronic acid is a gel like substance that sits between the skin and connective tissues supporting the skin. It acts like an inflated cushion to support facial structures and tissues that may have lost volume and elasticity due to sun damage and ageing. It hydrates the skin by bringing water to the surface which helps give a refreshed and more youthful appearance.

Treatment takes between 15 – 45 minutes, with many people returning to their normal activities following the procedure. The filler usually lasts from between six and twelve months, however to maintain a youthful appearance, most people have new hyaluronic injections two to three times a year.

Lip Fillers

Lip fillers and lip enhancement are one and the same thing; achieving the same result of fullness, definition and plumper younger looking lips. Lip enhancing lip fillers are made from the same hyaluronic acid that we use to combat wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance found in the skin and joints. It is quickly broken down by the body and constantly replaced, but as we age, replaces our naturally occurring hyaluronic acid at a much slower rate.

This results in our lips losing volume, the formation of fine lines and the lip borders and cupids bow are less well defined.

Platelet Rich Plasma

A rejuvenating and also regenerating treatment using your own platelet rich blood plasma to enhance the tone, texture and appearance of your skin as well as improving fine lines, wrinkles and scars.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment can be used on the face (including around the eyes, mouth and nose) and the rest of the body (commonly the backs of the hands, scars and décolletage) resulting in a more youthful looking appearance.

This treatment is not only rejuvenating but regenerative. Your own platelet rich blood plasma and associate growth factors are used to repair damaged tissues by stimulating the natural healing process of the treated areas, resulting in many aesthetic benefits including enhancing the tone, texture and appearance of the skin.

The treatment takes about 60 minutes. The skin is cleaned and makeup is removed. A topical anaesthetic is then applied to the areas to be treated. 10mls of blood is taken and this is then processed and concentrated platelet rich plasma (about 6mls) is harvested before being injected using a fine needle into the desired areas. A soothing moisturising bruise preventative cream is then applied.

It may take up to a few weeks for optimum visible results and with two or three repeat treatments you can expect the results of PRP treatment to last for up to 18 months.

Dermal Rollers

Dermal Roller treatments are effective in the treatment of sagging skin, acne scars, fine lines and stretch marks. This micro needling treatment for the face and body produces results in no time at all.

Dermal Roller treatments work by introducing a series of fine needles (attached to a single use, sterile roller) into the skin to create many small channels at various penetration depths. The controlled damage to the dermis encourages the body to produce more new collagen and elastin, which generate new skin cells to literally “repair” itself, thus the skin in texture, tone and elasticity, giving a more youthful appearance. The appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and stretch marks can also be improved.

This treatment takes about 30 minutes. Initially, make up is removed and the skin is cleaned. A topical anaesthetic is applied liberally to the areas to be treated. A dermal roller is then applied to the skin. As the treatment progresses sensitivity increases and the skin will feel warm and appear flushed. A soothing moisturising bruise preventative cream is applied following treatment.

Following the treatment, between 1 - 3 weeks the skins texture and tone and will improve and pigmentation will change. The appearance of lines, wrinkles and scarring will improve also. Best results are seen between 1 and 3 months after the course has been completed. Changes in acne scarring or stretch-mark appearance will be permanent and skin rejuvenation results will last about 6 months.

For optimal results a course of treatment is usually recommended (2-3 treatments per year).

Skin Peels

Skin peels provide significant benefits by helping to smooth rough dry skin and rejuvenate your skin which can take years off your appearance! Peels work by removing the top layer of skin promoting collagen production and providing benefits to improve the texture of sun damaged skin, improve superficial acne scars, minimises fine lines and softens deep wrinkles. Chemical peels are effective in cell renewal revealing a fresh clear appearance you will notice how healthier looking your skin is!

During the procedure, the skin is cleansed deeply and the chemical is applied, penetrating the dead skin cells and stimulating the regeneration of a new and stronger epidermis.

Following de-activation, the skin is then hydrated, treated and moisturised. Treatments last about 15-20 minutes. A series of peels (4-6) is usually required to obtain the best results performed at intervals of 10-14 days. The strength of the peel will increase during a course.

We offer a range of skin peels, including the Epionce and Agera systems that vary in strength. Our practitioners have extensive experience and will advise you on the optimum treatment specifically for your skins condition, type and tone.

Our peels cause minimal trauma to the surface of the skin and this means less down time, you are able to return to normal soon, if not at no time at all.

To achieve maximum results our practitioners recommend a course of 3-6 chemical peels following assessment of your skin type, tone and condition.

Microdermabrasion is a highly effective treatment providing improvement in the condition of the skin without being an invasive treatment. It is one of the simplest treatments, you but new!

A microdermabrasion treatment uses a machine with a vacuum device and a diamond tip containing microchrystals to remove the top layer of the skin without causing pain or discomfort. The superficial layer of skin, outer epidermis is gently abraded away , stimulating skin cell, collagen reproduction and blood flow revealing a healthy glowing skin. Microdermabrasion is useful in treating dull and leathery skin, mild acne scaring, fine wrinkles, uneven skin tone and to exfoliate pores.

Microdermabrasion is progressive and requires a course of treatments to achieve optimum results and for you to notice visible improvements. Your skin will feel softer and plumper after your first treatment and will continue to improve with additional treatments. Treatments are relatively painless and last about 15-20 minutes. Our practitioners will recommend treatment options that will maximize the results for your skin.
